hic titulus pueri casos describit iniquos Dalmatium querit pater quem sine matre nutriit dulcis infans obiit modica q(ui) vita peregit novennem puerum eripuit cum mensib(us) octo et dies XVI quib(us) superfuisse videtur dep(ositus) XII kal(endas) iul(ias) Amantio |
The mention of Amantio leads to 345, when Flavius Amantinus was consul with Marcus Nummius Albinus (Carletti ad loc. cit. dates the object to 354, which is clearly a typo for 345; here, he also mistakenly names Albinus as Flavius Rufus). |
